This quote embodies the philosophy Dr. Kari-Lynn Winters had throughout the course and the one she encouraged us to take on as teacher candidates and carry into our classroom. She demonstrated it from the minute our course began by getting us up out of our seats and participating in drama strategies. Personally, I feel that this quote should be the foundation of any good teacher's philosophy about learning. I hope that within my future classroom, my students are learning things through experience and seeing the practical use for all the knowledge and skill they gain.
