Throughout this blog, you will be able to relive my experiences as a teacher candidate learning to teach and participate in dramatic arts. The teaching resources, activities, and educational theory that I encounter along the way will be highlighted to demonstrate my journey through drama.

On the main page you will be able to learn about drama strategies that you can use in your own classroom. Visit the Educational Theories tab to learn about the reasons why these strategies are used and what they are trying to promote in the classroom. Some believe that drama is silly and do not see the benefit of the subject. Under the Why Teach Drama tab, read my perspective on why drama is essential to the education system and human development. The Arts Curriculum is the guiding document for all Ontario teachers. In that tab I explain the importance of this document and the essential information that comes from it. In My Journey, read my reflection on this process of experiencing dramatic arts again and how I grew throughout the short six weeks of the course.
